FreshStart by Doug Fields

Have you ever wanted to just start over? Just forget the past and start fresh, well that’s what this enlighting book will help you to do. I found that reading this book it answered alot of questions of why I kept doing the same things over and over. With this book you can work through your problems and learn new techniques to use in everyday life to help each day have a fresh start. We are messy people and God uses messy, broken, stuck people all the time to help teach others, we were made for community, not to be alone. To use our experiences to let others know that they are not alone. Understanding that keeping close to God in his word and through prayers, all things will work for the best. To me the old saying of “God helps those who help themselves” was an  underlying theme in the book, we have to “cooperate” and let God do his work through us. Be open to the opportunities that are put in our path and let God truly have his way in our lives. Be willing to jump out of your comfort zone and understand that your past is your past, if you ask God to forgive it, its gone. Just like that.
