This weekend I quoted from the book “MisQuoting Jesus”, by Bart Erhman, a former Christian, turned agnostic, by, he says, the unclear evidence of the New Testament text. His book has been on the NYT best sellers list for a number of weeks. It is an easy read, and in reading it, one concludes that the New Testament text, in the original greek, is very suspicious.
